*NBA Loser(-1.1u): Knicks/Suns 1H UNDER 110

--The Knicks are an Under team typically, but they actually trend more to the Over in the first half. However, with 2 guards out tonight, I thought their bench would struggle out of the gates early. Remember, this offense isn’t very good to begin with. Unfortunately, a 66 point 1Q was simply too much to overcome in this one. Going forward, it’s going to be hard to look towards any Suns Under considering how easily they can score. They ended up hanging 128 on a Knicks defense that I would consider top-tier. Either way, this was probably me focusing too much on a relatively insignificant piece of news instead of just laying off. Knicks Unders will continue to catch my eye, but not against sharp offenses like Phoenix.

*NBA Best Bet Winner(+1u): Lakers +8.5 @ Trail Blazers

--Portland has found a new fire over the past 7-10 days, and the Lakers have been trending downwards since LeBron James first went down. That said, this line was way too high and simply disrespectful to the Lakers. Portland has one of, if not the, worst defenses in the NBA. You’re telling me they have to basically win this game by double digits in order to cover? No thanks. With Anthony Davis in the lineup tonight, this was a no-brainer. It did take a 36 point night from Davis to keep this game close, but ultimately the Lakers only lost by 5 and cashed in this best bet winner for me. As expected, the Lakers weren’t going to roll over tonight because these last set of games in the regular season are crucial for their playoff seeding. They’re going to need to figure things out before the postseason, but I couldn’t pass up the disrespect the oddsmakers showed them tonight.
