*NBA Best Bet Winner(+1u): Wizards -7.5 vs Cavaliers

--I grabbed this line at 7.5 early this morning before it inflated to around 9/9.5, but luckily it didn’t even make a difference. The Wizards continued to play the way they have over the last month and miraculously find themselves a single win(and 1 more loss from IND) away from clinching the 8 seed in the East. Just a month ago, that seemed inconceivable. I guess you can call that the Russell Westbrook difference. Right on cue, Westbrook recorded another triple double(21 pts/12 rbs/17 asts), and the Wizards role players filled in nicely in Bradley Beal’s absence. I’ll give Cleveland some credit for showing up and playing a pretty hard game, but it wasn’t too hard to predict that Washington was going to outlast them in a 48 minute game. Hungry dogs run faster. 

*NBA Winner(+1u): 76ers -8.5 vs Magic

--I don’t feel like I need to go too in-depth on this one and act like I had some super-sharp angle. The Magic stink, and the 76ers are the first seed in the East. I will say that I got to the window with Philly today because they needed just 1 more win to clinch that 1 seed up; considering they play the Magic again on Sunday, I figured they would come out strong tonight so they can rest basically everybody on Sunday and start getting ready for the 1st round. The 76ers only led by 3 after 1Q, but eventually they started to get rolling and went into the locker room with a 23 point lead. Over these last 2 days of the regular season, I would caution you to really think about how much a team needs to win that game. For example, when the 76ers play Orlando on Sunday, the line will be much shorter than you’d expect because the 76ers have already clinched the 1 seed and won’t take that game all too seriously. All in all, it was a pretty easy 2-0 night, which I will certainly take any time I can get ‘em. On to tomorrow!
